Awards

I am a member of the Irish Professional Dog Groomers Association and compete in their Annual Championships where Irish Groomers get together to compete and talk dogs!

I competed in the IPDGA championships for the first time in 2012 where I received a Merit award with Millie the Westie in Open Clipped Class.  After that I was hooked on competitions, they are so enjoyable and I learn so much.  The dogs I take with me always enjoy the day out and all the attention.  Below are listed my placings:

2013

I competed in Open Handstrip class with my own little Zoe, a Bichon/Jack Russell cross where to my delight we won the class!!

Next was Open Clipped class with Ozzie the Shih Tzu/Cairn cross and we won first place again!

Having won both my classes meant I was eligible for Irish Groomer Of The Year, I won Reserve  Irish Groomer of the year!!

2014

3rd in Champion Clipped class with Daisy the Bichion X Westie.

2^nd in Champion Handstrip class with Zoe my Bichon/Jack Russell cross.

2015

2nd in Champion clipped class with Bailey the Lhasa Apso

2016

2nd in Champion Handstrip class with Jack the wire haired terrier.

I was also honoured to win the Technique and handling award 2016

2017

2^nd Champion Clipped class with Poppy the Cavachon.

2^nd Champion Handstrip class with Polly the wire haired terrier.

4^th Open Scissor Poodle class with Demelza my Miniature Poodle.

2018

3^rd Champion Clipped class with Molly the Shih Tzu cross.

3^rd Champion Handstrip class with Bosco the Glen of Imaal X Labrador.

2019

2^nd in Champion Handstrip class with Zoe my Bichon/Jack Russell cross.

3^rd in Champion Clipped class with Luna the Miniature Schnauzer.

3^rd in Open Scissor Poodle class with Demelza my Miniature Poodle.
